Easy Smothered Pork Chops w/sides

This pork chop recipe can be fixed easily and without a lot of time involved. It only takes minutes to prepare and less than a half an hour to cook. So if you're looking for a delicious easy meal, try my easy Smothered pork chop recipe...

Here's what you'll need:

4 (medium size) pork chops
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 of small onion & 1/2 small bell pepper (chopped)
1/4 cup of water or beef stock
1 pkg brown gravy
1pkg seasoned rice
1 can vegetable
Your favorite seasonings to taste

Start with (4) clean pork chops. Season (to taste) and flour pork chops. Set aside..
In a large frying pan w/lid put vegetable oil in pan and turn fire up to med/high. Allow frying pan time to warm-up. Then, One by one place seasoned and floured pork chops in frying pan. Cook pork chops on med/high for (5) minutes on each side. Drain well. With pork chops in the frying pan, add chopped onion and bell peppers to pan. Cook with pork chops for 1 minute. Then add gravy mix (mix gravy according to package directions) and water or beef srock. Bring frying pan to a boil. Then turn heat to low/med. Let pork chops simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes and serve with flavored rice & vegetable. This recipe serves four.
