Did you know I had a YouTube Channel? My channel has tutorials and GRWM videos. One of my latest videos is related to my lifestyle change regarding shaving my head... Yes, you heard me right. In January 2017, I shaved my head in an effort to start completely over. At my age (I'm in my late 40's), I don't have time to think about what other people will think. I'd been thinking about it for years but never brave enough to try it. But now, something about this year 2017 that made me feel like now is the time for change. My life has been changing in a variety of ways! My way of life has changed from city to country living. Who has time to be dealing with hair right now? So shaving my hair made sense at the time and it still does. This time around I will get the chance to enjoy watching my hair grow and getting a chance to learn my hair all together. It's been several years since I've gone natural and I always said I would one day... Well this was my year! When I first thought about starting a blog, I checked with a few friends and family members. I received mixed opinions about the whole things. My first wash-n-go on natural 4c hair...

Follow along with me as I try my first wash-n-go. Having short natural 4c hair has it's challenges. One of the biggest challenge is styling you're hair. While there are many styles currently available to try, not all styles can be achieved on 4c hair type. After doing some research looks like wash-n-gos are easy! I wanted to find out for myself! They say the finger raking method is the easiest way to achieve a quick wash-n-go. So I thought I'll give it a try. I'm always looking for easy styles that last at least a week. And as I'm getting older I don't have time or strength for long drawn-out hairstyles. It's gotta be quick and easy for me! I want to look good without having to spend hours on my hair. My imagination let me down, again!

How many times have you imagined something special? You had it all worked out in your mind! Every detail has been thought of and figured out! You just knew everything would work out. Why? Because you've already imagined it out a thousand times in your head... Only to have reality slap your well-thought-out plan right in the face!  All the thoughtful planning, for what? None of you're imangined thought ever became a reality! Sound familiar? Sometimes I wonder about dreams and imagination!
