Watching the skies.. Yep, we had a category 4 hurricane hit the southeastern tip of Texas last night! Harvey came in around 10pm central time last night! We'd been expecting Harvey to hit on Friday. The weather channel and our local news has had coverage and talking about the weather impact all day long. We've known about it since early this week. On Monday we had a solar eclipse then by Friday we had a hurricane.. All in one week! We live north east of the tropical storms landfall, but it's expected to move up this way and give us inches and inches of rain. Right now it's still down south east of us. Welcome to my new blog page I am excited to be starting this blog. I have been wanting to do this for quite a while. No better time than the present so here I am. In my blog I will be talking about and sharing lifestyle idea and experiences for the everyday middle age women. I have just recently changed my life and moved over 100 miles from where I lived for 15 years. I have my own experiences to share and idea to talk about. Come along for the ride... Not to mention being a middle aged women going through the change...lol. I have completely uprooted my life and started over in a country setting. NO more city living for me. I love small towns and slow living....

My knees especially would get scraped and bruised up all the time. It never took me long to heal up and return to my usual activities. And there I was usually within weeks or so, repeating myself by skinning up my knees in some way or another. Then came my adult life. Being a young adult, I didn't have the same kind of tim...
